Cappadocia, with its valleys, fairy chimneys, and rock-carved texture, is one of the world's most unique outdoor geographies. Cross Golf Cappadocia is designed as an activity that integrates with the landscape without disturbing its spirit.

The experience here is defined by geography, not by the logic of a 'course': walking rhythm, target selection, and gameplay accompanied by scenery.

Cross Golf has been brought to Turkish tourism by Indigo Group since 2008, making Cappadocia the first and only region in the world where golf is played within a UNESCO protected area.

But with a few exciting differences:

Net (Goal)

Aim for the net!

Instead of traditional holes, specially designed nets are the target. Golf's round hole is replaced by a goal suspended in mid-air to trap the flying ball.

Instead of Green

Replaces the 'green' in classical golf. Reaching this flag-marked area increases your adrenaline.

Land

Strategic Advantage!

The 3-meter radius around the target net is called 'Land'. Players who drop their ball in this area earn the right to turn the net towards their shot angle.

Instead of sand bunkers, you battle fairy chimneys. Instead of artificial ponds, you navigate deep valleys. The ancient landscape dictates the game.

Because the target is so much bigger than a traditional golf hole, there's a greater chance that you can goal out from distance. With golf you don't go for the hole from 50 yards out and expect to get it in. But with Cross Golf, the larger target means there's always a chance for that spectacular long-range shot.

Cappadocia Cross Golf Summer Camp (2008)

A total of 130 primary school students from 6 different regional schools in the Cappadocia region, who had never had the opportunity to receive golf training, were given free golf lessons by Cross Golf professionals during the summer vacation.

The mission of Cross Golf, one of the leading representatives of the "Responsible Tourism" approach in Turkey, is not only to promote a culture of respect for the environment and nature, but also to support equal opportunities by providing free training and development opportunities to individuals with limited means in its area of expertise. This program aims to train athletes who can participate in tournaments within the next few years.

What are the differences between Classical Golf and Cross Golf?

Cross Golf has 2 fundamental differences: 1) Instead of an artificially created course, Cross Golf is played in the untouched valleys of Cappadocia. 2) Instead of a hole, the target in Cross Golf is a net.

Does Cross Golf use different equipment?

No. Cross Golf is played with the same clubs and ball used in classical golf.

Should we bring our own equipment or can you provide it?

You can bring your own equipment if you wish, or you can get the necessary equipment from us.

Why does Cross Golf support Responsible Tourism?

We are aware of the increasing need for groundwater worldwide, especially in the Cappadocia region. As Indigo Group, we ensure that all our projects are 100% respectful of the environment and nature.

Can Cross Golf cause any negative impact on the environment?

Absolutely not. Cross Golf does not involve any permanent equipment. There can be no negative impact on the environment during the game.

Are auxiliary elements like caddies and golf carts available in Cross Golf?

Caddies are available. However, golf carts are not available. We believe players will prefer horseback riding or walking in the magical valleys located within the world's most beautiful and UNESCO-protected area.

What is 'Land'?

We call the area defined by flags with a 3m radius, centered on the net, 'Land'. When a player can drop the ball into this area, they gain the right to turn the net towards the ball's direction.
